This year tmactive are running a spectacular Summer Swim Programme, offering a host of brand new sessions at Tonbridge Swimming Pool and Larkfield Leisure Centre.
As well as our Group Intensive Swimming Courses, 1-2-1, 1-2-2, popular Swim Like a Shark/Mermaid sessions and Disney-inspired Family Fun Swims, we are introducing Start Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Undersea Explorers Snorkelling in association with Kent Wildlife Trust and Aqua Quidditch. Here are some of the highlights:
Undersea Explorers is an exciting marine awareness programme, bringing the English Channel to the swimming pool! The sessions introduce the subject of marine wildlife and snorkelling skills through activities and games in a swimming pool decorated with local marine wildlife replicas. They give children the opportunity to learn water safety, snorkelling skills, underwater survey techniques, and what threats face the marine wildlife that live around the Kent shores. Those taking part must be able to swim 25m.
Calling all Harry Potter fans! Come and try this exciting game of Muggle Quidditch in the pool, where your broomstick is a noodle and the skills are based around Water Polo. Chase the Golden Snitch and see which team is the winner! To take part you need to be Stage 4 plus/ confident in deep water.’
