‘Artists of the High Weald’ a new exhibition in Crowborough.

Crowborough Arts has announced the arrival of a new exhibition in Crowborough, which will showcase talent from across the High Weald area. The exhibition will open on December 8th at the Crowborough Centre, Pine Grove, with a wine bar from 4.00 pm and refreshments available all day.

‘We would like to see Crowborough become a Centre for Arts intheHigh Weald area, andthenew Crowborough Centre promises to become a real hub forthetown’ said Sue Petszaft, Chair of Crowborough Arts. ‘We have been pleased bythenumbers of applicants for this new exhibition which will bring new artistic talent tothetown as well as a new opportunity for some of our best more local artists, and we could have filledtheexhibition space many times. The Café atthenew centre is now a buzzy place with excellent home cooked food available, and visitors totheLibrary can pop across and take intheexhibition attheir ease.’

‘We would like to think this can become a regular date on the cultural calendar of East Sussex’ said Hannah Muskett who has designed the‘Artists of the High Weald’ logo, website and catalogue. ‘I know many of the artists who have put in work are excited by the chance to exhibit with the group of artists being brought together for this exhibition.’ Check out the website www.artistsofthehighweald.org.uk.
