Beacon Academy students compete in Sussex Schools Athletics Association Cross Country Championships
Beacon Academy students travelled to Christs Hospital in Horsham for the Sussex Schools Athletics Association Cross Country Championships in March.
Delilah and Dora represented the Year 7 girls, Safia and Emily represented the Year 8 girls and Jacob and Luca represented the Year 8 boys.
Teacher of PE, Mr Gavin Cload, congratulated all students that participated, commenting, “Well done to all the students who took part, they should be immensely proud of their fantastic performances. Congratulations to Delilah who finished in the top 20 and has been invited to compete for Sussex at the Inter Counties event. A special mention also goes to Luca who finished just outside the top 20.”
