TAYLOR MADE DREAMS CHARITY SINGLE LAUNCH

Friday 28th November – The Forum: Tunbridge Wells

Grab a £5 ticket now for what looks like being a top fund raiser for local charity Taylor-Made Dreams. Eight acts play during the evening of Friday 28th November, starting at 7pm. The evening aims to highlight a Christmas single recorded by a band of local artists under the banner The Acoustic Reverbs. The song, written by James Morris, captures the nostalgia and excitement of a childhood Christmas, and the single will be sold as a CD and download, to raise money for Taylor-Made Dreams.

The charity (reg no 1158174) which was supported by Unfest 2014, was set up by Suzi Mitchell, a mother from Crowborough:

Taylor-Made Dreams is a charity which enables children with life limiting illness achieve their dreams when time is short. The charity also provides holistic therapeutic support for the family through their difficult times. “The charity was set up in the memory and has been inspired by my son Taylor Mitchell who sadly lost his courageous battle against a terminal condition on the 2nd of September 2011.

A fund was set up called ‘Taylors Bucket of Wishes Association’ by two dear friends and this fund enabled Taylor to tick off his own ‘Bucket List’ before he passed away. The experiences we had as a family together were priceless and are now very cherished memories. Taylor-Made Dreams is a charity set up with the monies left in TBW and we received our charitable status in July 2014. We are very privileged to have Taylor’s comic hero John Bishop on board as our patron. This vision has become a reality inspired by Taylor and we very much appreciate your continued support…..lets make magic happen together!”

The evening at the Forum will be hosted by Dan Littlechild, and includes a variety of local acts:
Milly McCarron, 8 Car Attach, Ukelear Fallout, Daniel Clews, McCrei, Millie Manders band, Kirsti Robinson (K-Rob) and headlining at 11.15 pm – Searching for Pie, with the party carrying on until 1am. A lot of hard work has gone into organising, rehearsing, recording and producing the single, as well as all the associated works of design and promotion, so please come along and join the team for a ‘let your hair down’ Christmas party.

If you can’t make it along to the evening, try and support by buying everyone you know a copy of the single http://taylormadedreams.net/
