ICE SKATING IN TUNBRIDGE WELLS WIN A FAMILY TICKET

The real ice rink in Calverley Grounds is back for its fourth year due to popular demand. A dedicated parent and toddler session will take place every morning at 10am (excluding Christmas Day) and Monday – Friday at 2pm (from Monday 24 November – Thursday 18 Dec).

The thirty-minute sessions are for toddlers over 2 years – less than 4 years old, they are great fun and provide a safe environment for little ones to enjoy skating. These sessions cost from £7.00 – this allows one adult to skate with each toddler. A number of seal skating aids are available for hire on a first come basis. These dedicated ice skating sessions are weather dependent and may be re-scheduled if it is raining or the ice is wet.

For main skating sessions the rink will be open from 11am until 9pm, last admission will be at 8pm excluding Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve (last session 7pm). Booking for peak times is essential – Thursday and Friday evenings, all day Saturday and Sunday and Christmas week. Adult tickets cost from £9.50 and children’s tickets (aged 4 years and above) from £7.00, family tickets and concessions are available. Ticket price includes hire of skating boots and lasts for one hour – approximately 50 minutes on the ice and 10 minutes to fit skates.

You can win 1 x family ticket (4 people max) for the ice rink valid between Fri 21 Nov – Fri 12 Dec – just email Joe@twtowncrier.co.uk by 17th November 2014 with the answer to this question: When did the ice rink first open in Tunbridge Wells?
