HIGHLIGHTS

Cards For Good Causes had a successful event in the Grosvenor Road shop at the end of last year and thank everyone for their wonderful support. The top-selling card was Cancer Research UK, the second was Alzheimer’s Society, third was Macmillan Cancer Support and fourth the RNLI. All sales for the Tunbridge Wells shop was around £19,200. Post & Packing on Mount Pleasant donated £150 from mutual customers using their services for the franking of posted cards. CFGC is always looking for volunteers – the Tunbridge Wells shop is open from the end of October until just before Christmas and they would be most grateful for any help. The Royal Tunbridge Wells Indoor Bowls Club (The Royals), High Woods Lane, is always looking for new members. Whether looking to take up the game of bowls or wish to become a social member, The Royals warmly welcomes you. The club is open all year round, is wheelchair friendly and offers a full and comprehensive bowls programme. The social team organise events throughout the year. New bowlers are always welcome, experience is not necessary and all ages and abilities are catered for. Megasense is a fitness group for all ages held in Hawkenbury URC’s hall on Mondays 7.30pm to 8.30pm and Wednesdays 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
