Abbey Funeral Services Ltd is a family business owned by Jim and Chris Parker and managed by their daughter and co-director, Jo Parker serving the families of Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and neighboring villages for over 35 years. The award-winning company has an enviable reputation for excellence. Every family is looked after with great care and compassion from first contact to the funeral and beyond. Abbey are active members of their trade association SAIF, their staff are fully qualified through the IFD College including Dementia Awareness training.
A community aware company, Abbey is proud of its connections with local charities. They are the main sponsor for ‘Find your Voice’ Choir at All Saints Church, Langton Green. The choir reaches out to all but especially those that are living with Dementia, Parkinson’s or recovering from a stroke.
Abbey also has its own charity offering bereavement support called ‘Friends Together’. Monthly lunch clubs or a weekly coffee morning. They have recently introduced a new evening group at the Trinity, Tunbridge Wells for those that are working and coping with a bereavement. They are also delighted to announce their new group that will be starting at ‘The Hare’ in Langton Green on 21st April from 11.00 am – 12.00 offering a tea/coffee and a pastry.
Abbey are also key organisers in an upcoming free Seminar in Tonbridge for families looking after an older relative or anyone preparing for later life
