Pictured here getting acquainted with the cowboys’ horses are Eleanor Bell who plays the part of feisty and determined Laurey Williams, and Jamie Thomas who is cast as the charming cowboy Curly McLain. Will he get to take her out in ‘The Surrey with the Fringe on Top’ ?
Their love story is overshadowed by the unsavoury character, Jud Fry, and there is comedy to be found from the secondary pair of lovers, Will Parker and Ado Annie. The wonderful and music and lyrics by the renowned duo Rodgers & Hammerstein, has really stood the test of time and is a true delight for audiences of all ages.
TWODS never fail to please when it comes to musical theatre and this show will certainly be no exception. Sets, costumes and beautiful singing combined with choreography which is second to none – all amount to a wonderful show!
The rousing ‘OKLAHOMA’ chorus will have you singing along and tapping your feet as you leave the theatre.
