Julie Parker and James Sedge are the principals of MusicStation. After creating a very successful BA Hons Degree in Popular Music for the University of Kent and managing it very successfully for many years, they met with a local businessman and realised they all had a shared ambition, to start a music school in Tonbridge and provide top quality contemporary music education for all ages. On leaving the university, they all teamed up to create MusicStation and redeveloped the Bank Street premises. It is now one of the best music facilities in the country.

MusicStation, conveniently situated in Tonbridge town centre, is a state-of-the art facility with an air conditioned, sound-proofed studio, pleasant and modern teaching rooms featuring the latest Roland musical equipment (VDrums and FP80 digital pianos), 50” plasma screens, Apple iMacs and iPads, CCTV, and a comfortable reception/ waiting area.
Specialising in rock and pop music, our friendly and experienced tutors are all successful working musicians, able to structure the teaching of popular music step by step from beginner to advanced, bringing both valuable industry knowledge and innovative teaching methods into every session.
We offer vocal and instrumental lessons, in groups or one-to-one, optional grade exams, supervised band workshops, pop choir and other ensembles, recording facilities, and tuition in music theory, song writing and music technology.
