Mix fun and fitness to meet your goals

As children, we exercised by playing together with our friends… As teenagers, if our friends didn’t think an activity was cool, neither did we… But as adults we tend to exercise predominantly on our own, be that a solitary run around the park or a solo session on the treadmill. Yet research shows that group exercise is more motivational, more effective – and much more fun – than going it alone.

With this in mind, tmactive is introducing Les Mills group exercise classes to the Angel Centre this January. The BODYCOMBAT and BODYPUMP classes will launch on 6th January, just in time to help you with those ‘get healthier’ New Year’s Resolutions.

Les Mills exercise classes take places in more than 15,000 clubs all over the world every week. The classes are updated with new music and moves every three months to ensure they’re always fresh and in line with the latest research. BODYPUMP uses bars and weights to help you achieve muscular strength and definition, while BODYCOMBAT helps boost aerobic fitness using a fun mix of self-defence and martial arts moves.

Bradley Watson, Health & Fitness Manager at The Angel Centre, says: “Les Mills classes are a great way to get into exercise if you’re a beginner, and the group stimulus will help you stick with it as you work towards your fitness goals.”
